If anybody is facing a problem in connecting webdynpro.. here is a useful document in making it work!
1. goto C drive on ur PC or where the OS is installed.
2. Follow the hiearchy:
Windows-> system32-> drivers-> etc-> hosts
3. Open the host file & write:
" < IP address of your sap ides> <web address of your host on which u will be running the webdynpro>
Note: If u have trouble saving the file after editing, try running it in Admin mode.
4. goto IE. Click 'Tools' Activate "F12 Developer Tools".
5. Run the IE in COmpatibility Mode.
Now u r ready to use ur Webdynpro on Windows 8!!
