DropDownByKey - keyboard access not working beyond letter 'o'

Hi guys,

I have an interesting issue with DropDownByKey fields:

The access to the entry by pressing the right letters on the keyboard does not work beyond the letter 'O'.

Up to 'O' the selection is correctly done, but starting with 'P' (and all further letters of the alphabet) there is no reaction anymore.

This does not only happen to single fields, but with all DropDownByKey fields in my application.

As of now Google and SAP Note Search were not very forthcoming, therefore now I hope that someone here has an idea on how to solve this!
