Editable table in web dynpro abap

Hi all , I need to create a editable table control in web dynpro abap, when i select the cell editor option as input field the also it in grayed out only not able to create any entries, i tried with do 10 times and appending 10 initial line the the table allowing me to create entries , what is the standard method to create a editable table control in web dynpro abap.
