DPR_DET_DATA_TASK_O save data help

Hi Experts,

I have enhanced the component DPR_DET_DATA_TASK_O, to alter value of a standard field.
at task level

I have written the code in vi_det_daw_tto view (modify) method to set the value of the field

The field value is getting altered at screen level,

but I am not able to save the data,

At compcontroller level, there are methods report_changes, on_update , but there my changed value doenot get effected.

Can anyone help me, by telling how to save the data after alter the field value at runtime.
